  Job Summary:

  The Compression Operator is primarily responsible for cleaning, set-up and running of tablet press as per the written procedures, batch records and applicable cGMPs.

  Essential Functions:

   Responsible for manufacturing of tablets according to approved Master Batch Records and as per written procedures

   Responsible for the cleaning, set-up, and operation of tablet presses

   Responsible for blend and bulk product accountability throughout the manufacturing processes

   Performs all in-process testing and inspections as required by the Master Batch Record such as tablets weight, tablet thickness, tablet hardness, friability, visual inspection, etc.

   Responsible for identification and reporting of quality issues

   Performs entries and reviews the data in the batch record and logbooks.

   Performs daily balance calibration.

   Performs verification of labels on the drums and entries in the logbooks and records.

   Performs verification of in-coming blends against the batch record and inventory card.

   Performs cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing rooms including walls, floors, and ceilings as per current SOPs

   Performs other duties as management assigns.

  Education:

   Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

   2 years in Pharmaceuticals production
